Community Park Elementary School celebrated Earth Day by creating more than 100 beautiful fabric flags with earth promises on each. Another wanted to run a nonprofit that would save the environment.

Riverside Elementary School's teachers and students have been taking classes with Dorothy Mullen, a garden educator and founder of the Princeton School Gardens Cooperative. The students have been planting, harvesting and using the produce to learn about plant parts, swallowtails, and how other cultures cook such things as zucchini blossoms.
John Witherspoon Middle School will be providing produce to the Crisis Ministry this summer along with all the other school gardens.
Princeton High School celebrated its Green Tiger garden opening June 10, with a Vegetable Musical performed by singing and dancing students dressed as veggies. The skit was performed for a group of Kindergarten students during the day and community members at night. Next year the Vegetable Musical will be traveling to different schools to spread the word about healthy eating.
