St. Patricks Day Green Map Workshop

17 Mar 2012, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Princeton Public Library, 65 Witherspoon St., Princeton

Green Mapping on St. Patrick’s Day!

Come help us identify and add sites to a new interactive, online “Princeton Green Connections” map!

This map will highlight green space areas and green networking places/organizations in town, as well as the hiking trails, bicycle and pedestrian routes that connect us to these green spaces.

  • Green mappers should bring a laptop, ipad or smart phone, or borrow one from the library.
  • Space is limited – please contact Andrea Malcolm (amalcolm@princeton-townshhip.nj.us) for more information, and to reserve a spot.
  • Wendy Brawer, founder and Executive Director of NYC-based Green Map System will be at the workshop to give us her expert advice!
  • Green refreshments to be provided!

The “Green Connections” map is part of a collaborative effort among four towns – Princeton, Hillsborough, Montgomery and Lawrence – with training coordinated by Sustainable Jersey, using the Green Map System (opengreenmap.org).  For more information about the Princeton Green Connections map, see this website post.

Thank you to Princeton Public Library for cosponsoring this event!  Workshop to be held in the second floor meeting room  of the library.
