Princeton’s Climate Action Plan (CAP) is more than a roadmap to reduce emissions. In fact, a key portion of the CAP addresses our public safety and health. Fulfilling these actions are necessary to reduce the impacts on our physical and mental health and improve our disaster planning and management.
On December 2, three speakers joined us to discuss scientists’ predictions for our region and how Princeton can act.
Betsy Marshall is an Occupational and Environmental Epidemiologist at the Rutgers School of Public Health. Nick Angarone is Bureau Chief of the Climate & Flood Resilience Program at the NJ Department of Environmental Protection. Michael Yeh is Director of Emergency and Safety Services for the Municipality of Princeton. This event was moderated by Nicole Bronzan, Senior Communications Officer of Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
