ABOUT US
Our mission is to inspire the community to develop and implement solutions that positively impact the environment. We strive to lead community change to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, strengthen resilience to the impacts of the changing climate and protect the local ecosystem.
Established as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 2012, we work alongside residents, businesses, nonprofits and local government to make our community more sustainable. We envision Princeton as a model town that examines every action through the lens of sustainability, ensuring a healthy environment, strong economy, and well-being of all community members now and in the future.

QUICK FACTS:
DID YOU KNOW?
CAP DEVELOPMENT.
We convened 32 meetings and worked with 54 dedicated committee members, to deliver Princeton’s Climate Action Plan. The CAP identifies 84 actions to reduce Princeton’s greenhouse gas emissions and make our community more resilient.
EMISSION REDUCTION.
In 2018, an estimated 7200 Kg CO2 in emissions were prevented or captured through our partnership efforts — distributing native trees and LED bulbs, encouraging home energy audits, and maintaining the EV station in Princeton’s Spring Street Garage.
RESOURCE RECOVERY.
In 2018, we helped divert 1800 cubic feet of Styrofoam® and over 20,000 pounds of waste, batteries, organics, pens, and plastics, from landfills.
